Perbi Cubs is a startup based in Accra, Ghana, that partners with local schools to provide library services and in-person programs to improve child literacy. After several years honing their in-person programs, culminating in the wildly successful Inter-school Reading Quiz, they are ready to take their business to the next stage, with a digital-first offering.

Faced with the common chicken-and-egg problem of not being able to fund the software development until they grow, and not being able to grow until they have new software, they have been looking for ways to get past this roadblock.

Villagers will be working closely with the Perbi Cubs team to build out the mobile app that will power their digital expansion, in exchange for a share of the revenue it unlocks.
