We started villagers because we wanted to spend our time creating products that deliver a step change in the lives of the people that use them.

We’re good at listening, honing in on the root cause of a problem, and then finding the best ways to solve it. We thrive in the heads-down execution that comes afterwards, and love the flow state that accompanies it. We are driven by seeing, measuring – and verifying – the positive impact our work has on the lives of others.

So, with the selfish goal of doing as much of this as possible, we set out to partner with founders who are as obsessed with a particular problem as we are about building products. Passionate founders with a personal motivation to solve a problem. Intentional founders with a plan to make a change. Accidental founders who just wanted to fix something but couldn't help falling down the rabbit hole.
